Benjamin discovered the hose yesterday, and a whole bunch of craziness followed! We were, of course, safely standing on the other side of the screen door - he was soaked, and loved every moment!!

It's been quite some time, but I'm back! I'm all grown up now, almost a year and a half old!!

We made it out to the Rib Fest a couple of weeks ago with a few of our friends. The weather was perfect! All the kids were running around, and the food was great. Here's Ben with two beach balls he decided to claim as his own.

We were very happy to see that he decided to share with his buddy.

We met up with our friends Liz and Rod and their twin girls.

Benjamin took his first pony ride! We think he had fun - he definitely wasn't scared! Every time the pony would stop walking, he'd bounce up and down to get it moving again.

We're off to collect more candy!

For those who've been checking in regularly, I must apologize for not posting in so long! I guess grad school and everything else got the best of me. In any case, here are the most recent updates. More will be coming shortly, but didn't want to keep you waiting any longer! Hope you enjoy :)

Ben's nighttime Halloween costume was of none other than Superman!! We had fun trick-or-treating with his cousins; Ben scored us a ton of candy :)

Benjamin's school Halloween costume was a little soldier boy - because he happens to have camouflage EVERYTHING and I figured it'd be a quick, inexpensive costume!

While in NJ, we ventured out one night to a street that's closed off to traffic and lined with homes that are really nicely decorated for Halloween. We saw everything from Rocky Horror Picture Show to The Wizard of Oz. I don't think Ben was too interested; he fell asleep after about 5 minutes of walking around.

This was my favorite house: the Peanuts gang and the Great Pumpkin!

We had some time to kill at the airport on the way back, so Alex bought a smoothie. Here you can see Benjamin enjoying a sip - his first time drinking through a straw!

Benjamin has always loved avocados - so much that he wants every part of himself smothered in them! Oh well, at least they're good for your hair and skin!

I attempted a photo shoot with Benjamin, but things didn't exactly go as planned! Here are the best ones, which are okay, but not spectacular - further proof that I was not cut out to be a professional photographer :)
